If you're not big on anything with a slight hint of sparkle, hopefully this post will change your approach. Often, most people tend to shy away from anything sparkly, other than at Christmas which clearly is the most appropriate time!

I spotted their Platinum mini skirt which I'm wearing and instantly fell in love. I only do sequins in small doses so this was perfect for me. As the skirt is such a statement piece in itself, here's a few tips on how to get the best wear out of it.
1. Less is more - As mentioned, it is a statement piece in itself. To avoid looking like a Christmas tree, limit the amount of jewellery you wear.
2. Focal Point - Following from the above point, it should always be the focus of your outfit. To keep the attention on your sequin piece, ensure the rest of your outfit is kept to a minimum.
3. Too sparkly? - If you're still not keen on the idea, try to dress it down. Instead, throw on an oversized white shirt and complete with a leather biker jacket.
